The invention relates to a device and a method for artificially ageing stones (2), particularly concrete blocks, clinker bricks and natural stones. An ageing channel (1) is provided, which has a base (4), an upper boundary (5) and lateral boundaries (6, 7). Also provided is a vibration device (8) for causing at least the base (4) of the ageing channel (1) to vibrate. Also provided is an advancing device (9) for pushing at least two rows of stone (10, 11, 12) through the ageing channel (1), said rows being arranged laterally next to one another in the direction of advance and each row being formed by a plurality of stones (2) placed one behind the other, wherein the stones (2) of the stone rows (10, 11, 12) are placed on the base (4) of the ageing channel (1) in such a way that the stone face (200, 203) of the stones (2) that is to be processed is oriented transversely to the direction of advance. |
