PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of laser ablation causing potential tissue carbonization that results in an increased inflammatory response and prolonged healing time following the ablation.SOLUTION: A prostate therapy system including a plurality of features is provided. One feature of the prostate therapy system is that it can access a prostate lobe transurethrally. Another feature of the prostate therapy system is that it can deliver condensable vapor into the prostate to ablate the prostate tissue. Methods associated with use of the prostate therapy system are also covered. |
