<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat-treat locally the outer peripheral surface of a protruded part of work.SOLUTION: The outer peripheral surface 3 of a protruded part 2 is induction-heated by applying an electrical current to a pair of conductors 11-1 and 11-2 extending in parallel along front and back side surfaces 30 and 31 of the outer peripheral surface 3 of the protruded part 2 of work 1, in the same direction of the extension direction of the conductor pair.</p> |
