PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a larger amount of power from a thermoelectric transducer.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a thermoelectric transducer, a load that is connected with the thermoelectric transducer through a power supply line, a switch part that is provided to the power supply line to turn on/off the supply of power from the thermoelectric transducer to the load, and a control circuit. The control circuit turns off the switch part from the reception of a print job until a predetermined time elapses, and turns on the switch part (S11) after the lapse of the predetermined time (S10, and S15). |
