An illumination device, comprising: a substrate (110, 210), a light source (120, 220) located on the substrate (110, 210), and luminous coatings (131, 132, 133, 231, 232, 233); the wavelength of the light emitted by the light source (120, 220) is less than the wavelength of the light emitted by the stimulated luminous coatings (131, 132, 133, 231, 232, 233); the light emitted by the light source (120, 220) stimulates the luminous coatings (131, 132, 133, 231, 232, 233) to emit light; and the luminous coatings (131, 132, 133, 231, 232, 233) are made of material having long afterglow properties. The illumination device realizes emergency illumination without a power supply. |
