Disclosed are a novel structure of a transition metal compound having a heteroatom introduced thereinto, a catalyst composition comprising the same, and a method for preparing a polymer using the same. The transition metal compound according to an embodiment of the present invention is highly polymerizable and can produce a low-density polymer, and thus can produce copolymers for various purposes.
