PROCESS FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF AN ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE COMPOUND WITH A HIGH CONTENT OF CARBON NANOTUBES USEFUL AS A NANOSTRUCTURED THERMISTOR. |
摘要 |

The present invention refers to the process for manufacturing an electrically conductive nanostructured compound based on carbon nanotubes (CNTs) consolidated by a polymer for being used as a temperature sensor. The obtained material is characterized in that it comprises from about 50% to about 90% by weight of carbon nanotubes, consolidated by a polymer in the form of a small wafer with a typical diameter of 1 -3 cm and which typical thickness may vary from 200um to 5 mm. The carbon nanotubes produce an electrically conductive material that suffers changes in the electrical resistance when the temperature is modified. The material will change its electric resistance with a temperature change, which is recorded and transduced. The novel manufacturing process and the fact of having a high concentration of CNTs (50-90% by weight), provides a high stability and linearity between the temperature changes and the electric resistance readings, these are characteristics improved in current th in polymeric nanostructured films.
|
