<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device also applicable to a fire protection water storage facility, which is sufficed by digging ground surface of a small area and which can be constructed at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A rainwater storage device comprises: a plurality of tanks underground embedded and arranged side by side in a horizontal direction; and pipes connecting the tanks to one another. Each of the tanks consists of a plastic bottomed inner cylinder which is vertically erected and an outer cylinder which is formed on the outer periphery of the inner cylinder and is mainly composed of cement. Some of the plurality of tanks are used for long term storage while the remaining tanks are used for short term storage. Each of the first tank for long term storage and the first tank for short term storage has an incoming and outgoing port at its upper part. At least one tank for long term storage and at least one tank for short term storage communicate with each other in their upper parts lower than the incoming and outgoing ports, and the remaining tanks for long term storage communicate with each other in their lower parts while the remaining tanks for short term storage communicate with each other in their lower parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
