<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which attached information of an image edited with an external apparatus may be changed to an unexpected value, so that continuity and consistency with preceding and subsequent images may not be maintained when such an image is used. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises determination means that determines whether an image file to be reproduced is an image file received by reception means.
