<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing oil agent that exerts an excellent effect for baking-proof and processing power reduction. <P>SOLUTION: The processing oil agent is a processing oil agent that lies between a coating face of a processing tool covered by an amorphous carbon film and a processed surface of a work material processed by a contact of a coating face, and is characterized by including an organic salt consisting of an organic acid and an organic base. For instance, the organic salt is C<SB POS="POST">17</SB>H<SB POS="POST">33</SB>COO<SP POS="POST">-+</SP>H<SB POS="POST">3</SB>NC<SB POS="POST">18</SB>H<SB POS="POST">35</SB>formed with oleic acid and oleylamine. The organic salt decomposes to adsorb to a processed surface at a high deformation, forms a boundary film with a processed surface, and prevents a processing tool and a work material from contacting directly together. When the processing oil agent is used, a great reduction of a processing power and the prevention of seizure or the like can be attempted even when a cold plastic working of a large processing rate is performed.
