The annular flange is provided with a sealing means on a surface facing towards the upper surface, wherein the sealing means comprises first 5 and second walls 6 spaced from one another and adapted to engage with an element of a coffee machine capsule cage. There is also an additional element 7 provided between the first and second walls, disposed at an angle to the first and second walls.
