<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake disk rotor capable of obtaining necessary and sufficient rust prevention performance and satisfying a basic function as a braking element, and a rust prevention treatment method of the same. <P>SOLUTION: The coating 8 of a rust prevention coating composition having a thickness t of 2 to 8μm is formed on sliding surfaces 2a and 3a of sliding plates 2 and 3 on the outer side and the inner side in the brake disk rotor 1 formed of cast iron. The coating 8 of the rust prevention coating composition contains at least a zinc flake with a mass of 5 to 25 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>, an aluminum flake with a mass of 0.1 to 1.5 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>, and a silicic acid resin binder with a mass of 1.0 to 5.0 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>. The coating 8 of the rust prevention coating composition is formed by coating a treatment liquid at normal temperature before carrying out 10-minute firing treatment under temperature conditions of 150°C or higher and 200°C or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
