PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve high-speed welding performance in a two-wire welding method which performs welding by periodically varying an arc length.
SOLUTION: In the two-wire welding control method, electricity is repeatedly carried to a welding wire 1 with a peak current in a peak period and a base current in a base period set as one pulse cycle, a molten pool 2 is formed by periodically switching the arc length La to a first arc length HLa and a second arc length LLa shorter than the first arc length in synchronization with a switching signal Stc, and the welding is performed by feeding a filler wire 6 to the molten pool 2. The feed speed Ws of the filler wire 6 is set as a first filler wire feed speed LWs when the arc length is the first arc length HLa, and is set as a second filler wire feed speed HWs which is higher than the first filler wire feed speed LWs when the arc length is the second arc length LLa. Since the filler wire feed speed becomes higher when the arc length is short, the cooling efficiency of the molten pool is increased and the high-speed welding performance is improved.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
|
