<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high strength magnesium alloy which shows high tensile strength, and is harder than the conventional material. <P>SOLUTION: The high strength magnesium alloy subjected to aging treatment includes, by mass: at least 16% and at most 34% of Zn; at least 0.3% and at most 2% of Si; at least 0.1% and at most 0.5% of Mn; and the remainder consisting of Mg, inevitable impurities, and a modifying element, based on 100 mass% of the whole magnesium alloy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
