<p>An upright injection molding machine is provided, which more reliably prevents the impact between connecting rods protruded downwards from an end plate and a supporting surface of a mold thickness adjusting device. The upright injection molding machine (100) possesses a mold thickness adjusting part (50) for adjusting the distance between a movable pressure plate connected with the connecting rods (13a-13c) and the end plate; and a mold thickness adjusting and limiting part (60) for limiting the adjustment amount based on the mold thickness adjusting part (50). The mold thickness adjusting and limiting part (60) comprises detection parts (62, 63) and a detected part (64) relative to the detection parts (62, 63) and shifts relatively along a vertical direction. When detect that the detected part (64) approaches, the detection parts (62, 63) stop the adjustment based on the mold thickness adjusting part (50).</p> |
