<p>A liquid crystal display device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a substrate; a thin film transistor including a semiconductor layer produced on the substrate and a source electrode and a drain electrode produced on the semiconductor layer; an interlayer insulating film produced on the thin film transistor and having a contact hole produced therein to make a part of the drain electrode exposed; a first shielding film covering the contact hole and connected with the drain electrode; a second shielding film produced on the first shielding film; a pixel electrode produced on the interlayer insulating film; and a common electrode disposed to face the pixel electrode. A fine space (microcavity) having a liquid injecting hole is produced between the pixel electrode and the common electrode, and the fine space includes a liquid crystal layer made of liquid crystal molecules.</p> |
