[Also in Division A4] An adapter 10 comprises a tubular member 13 for supporting a spigot 31 of a removable drop-side 30 of a bed, the tubular member being brazed to a web 16 on a part 11 of a two-part clamp 11, 12 for releasably connecting the tubular member to a side frame member 14 of a bed. A tongue 20 on the part 12 is engaged in a channel 18 of the part 11, the parts 11, 12 being clamped together by screws 25. A grub screw 28 locates the adapter securely on the side frame member 14.
