A liquid crystal display device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first substrate; a gate line and a data line formed on the first insulation substrate; a first electrode and a second electrode formed on the gate line and the data line, and overlapped on both sides of the insulation film; a second substrate facing the first substrate; and a chiral dopant injected between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the content of the chiral dopant is less than about 1%. The liquid crystal molecules of a liquid crystal layer is twisted to have pitch of about 10 to 100 μm by the chiral dopant. |
