The purpose of the present invention is to provide a terminal device and a recording medium for processing a user message, which allow a user message to be reliably delivered to a user in the terminal device in which an application developed by a third party other than a manufacturer can be installed and which has an open operating system that enables the installed application to receive the user message transmitted to the terminal device. The terminal device is implemented to be capable of executing one or more applications and a message processing application, sequentially delivering a user message to at least one of the one or more applications being executed and the message processing application if the user message is received through a communications unit, and, in a separate incident other than the delivery, delivering the user message to the message processing application after standing by for a preset time. |
