The present invention relates to a method for detecting a microorganism using metal nanoparticles and a kit for detecting a microorganism. Unlike the existing method that is burdensome to detect the microorganism by adhering an antibody on metal nanoparticles, and in which a microorganism cannot be detected with the naked eye thus requiring use of high-priced equipment to detect the microorganism, in the present invention, a microorganism is mixed with a metal nanoparticle aqueous dispersion, and the color of the dispersion is changed, so that the microorganism can be detected with the naked eye. Also, color is changed through energy transition, so that a microorganism can be optically detected without a separate treatment. |
