PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyphenylene sulfide biaxial oriented film excellent in electrical characteristics (improvement of dielectric breakdown voltage, improvement of high temperature characteristics) and suitable for a capacitor, motor insulation, insulation tape or the like.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyphenylene sulfide biaxial oriented film containing a polyphenylene sulfide resin (A) as a major component, and an antioxidant having the content of a sodium metal element of 50 ppm or less and 1 mass% reduction temperature of 280°C or more (B) of 0.1 mass% to 8 mass% based on the mass of the polyphenylene sulfide resin (A). |
