PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner excellent in both fixability and heat-resistant storage property, and a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: A toner includes a plurality of toner particles. The plurality of toner particles each have a core 11 and a shell layer 12 formed on the surface of the core 11. The shell layer 12 contains bubbles. A manufacturing method of the toner includes the steps of: forming the cores 11; introducing the cores 11 and material of the shell layer 12 into a liquid; stirring the liquid for defoaming; and heating the defoamed liquid to form the shell layer 12 on the surface of each of the cores 11.
