PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a series of a speed reducer capable of configuring an orthogonal axis speed reducer and a parallel axis speed reducer while sharing components.SOLUTION: A series of a speed reducer includes a parallel axis speed reducer X and an orthogonal axis speed reducer Y. The parallel axis speed reducer X is equipped with a motor M, a parallel axis reduction gear P, and a first joint unit J1 disposed between the motor M and the parallel reduction gear P. The first joint unit J1 is equipped with a first joint casing 18 coupled to a motor casing 14 and a parallel axis reduction gear casing 16, and a joint shaft 22 coupled to a motor shaft 20 and an input shaft 10 of the parallel axis reduction gear P. The orthogonal axis speed reducer Y is equipped with the motor M and the parallel axis reduction gear P which are shared with the parallel axis speed reducer X, a second joint unit J2 which is partially shared with the first joint unit J1, and an orthogonal axis reduction gear R. The motor M, the second joint unit J2, the orthogonal axis reduction gear R, and the parallel axis reduction gear P are coupled in this order. |
