<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water surface covering method using urethane foam that can cover a water surface by securely and suitably forming a layer of urethane foam on the water surface.SOLUTION: A water surface covering method using urethane foam includes: a shield layer forming process of forming a shield layer 4 comprising a floating body group on a water surface 1a by supplying and floating a plurality of floating bodies 3 which are smaller in specific gravity than water to and on a water surface 1a and thus covering the water surface 1a; and a covering layer forming process of forming a covering layer 7 made of urethane foam on the shield layer 4 by scattering a mixed liquid of isocyanate and polyol. Further, a bearing force layer 8 for securing structure bearing force is stacked and formed on the covering layer 7 made of urethane foam so as to form a covering material 2, covering the water surface 1a, of the shield layer 3, covering layer 7, and bearing force layer 8.</p> |
