PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extrusion die with a deckle system that realizes adequate sealing contact between a deckle rod and internal walls of the die.SOLUTION: An extrusion system includes an extrusion die and a deckle system. The deckle system includes a deckle rod and a cam member operatively coupled to the deckle rod. A cam controller controls the cam member. The cam member performs cam action with the deckle rod in response to actuation of the cam controller. The cam action applies force to the deckle rod to seal an end region of the extrusion die. |
