<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice packet reproduction device without the need to refer to the reception time of a voice packet.SOLUTION: The voice packet reproduction device includes at least a packet receiver unit, a reception buffer unit, a storage packet count detector unit, a fluctuation observation unit, a voice packet decoding unit and a control unit. The fluctuation observation unit obtains a fluctuation value to be absorbed, on the basis of a predefined statistic rule on the variation of a residual amount of reception buffer at constant time intervals. The voice packet decoding unit decodes a voice code in the voice packet. The control unit retains a corresponding rule between the fluctuation value to be absorbed and an optimal number of storage packets in the reception buffer unit corresponding to the fluctuation value, to control to make the residual amount of reception buffer approach the optimal number of storage packets.</p> |
