<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically determine an optimum measuring method without requiring an operator to be aware of the difficulty from among a plurality of measuring methods (for example, a CMM touch, a five axial Head touch, and a five axial & two axial Head touch).SOLUTION: The circle measuring method includes: a probe head 24 having first drive means for allowing a probe 24a to rotate around two rotation axes AB which intersect with each other; and second drive means for allowing the probe head 24 to move to a three axial direction (XYZ directions) which intersect with one another using a three-dimensional measuring machine 10 for automatically measuring a work by a CMM touch, a five axis Head touch or a five axis & two axis Head touch, and has a first step of determining whether at least one determination condition is satisfied; and a second step of automatically determining an optimum measuring method from among the CMM touch, the five axis Head touch, and five axis & two axis Head touch based on the result of the determination at the first step.</p> |
