<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector capable of accurately discriminating a generation position of fluorescence in a configuration capable of discriminating a generation position of fluorescence generated in a scintillator crystal in a height direction.SOLUTION: A surface of a scintillator crystal c of the radiation detector is a rough surface. Thereby, a radiation detector 1 capable of suppressing unexpected reflection of fluorescence generated between scintillator crystals c and accurately discriminating a generation position of fluorescence can be provided. Reflector coupling regions coupled with reflectors out of the scintillator crystals c are polished smooth surfaces, so that when fluorescence emitted from a crystal is reflected on the reflector and returned to the original crystal, attenuation of the fluorescence is not generated. Thus, the radiation detector 1 can be provided which is capable of suppressing attenuation of fluorescence generated in a scintillator 2 as much as possible by treating a part of the crystals as a smooth surface and improving detection accuracy of radiation.</p> |
