Provided is a fuel cell separator manufacturing method including: a masking step which masks a predetermined peripheral region of a molded separator base with a masking material; and a surface processing step for forming a surface processing film on the separator base. Moreover, a blur removing step is provided for removing blurs from the predetermined region so that no gap is formed between the separator base and the masking material.
