PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel equipment and method for producing ethanol, and equipment for producing ethanol and bio pellet, which can dispense with storage of palm trunk aimed at saccharification of starch.SOLUTION: For production of ethanol and bio pellet, equipment 10 for producing ethanol and bio pellet is used in which a crushing apparatus 12 crushes soft cellulose containing starch to create a crushed material, a saccharification and fermentation apparatus 14 adds enzyme and yeast into the same tank where the crushed material is stored to create a saccharified and fermented material from the crushed material, a liquid squeezing apparatus 16 squeezes the saccharified and fermented material to create squeezed liquid, a drying apparatus 54 dries residue discharged from the liquid squeezing apparatus 16 to create a dried material, a molding apparatus 56 molds the dried material to create bio pellet, a cooling apparatus 52 cools ethanol-containing vapor discharged from the drying apparatus 54 to create water-containing ethanol liquid, which is introduced into a distillation apparatus 18 and the squeezed liquid and the ethanol liquid are distilled to take out ethanol. |
