This medicine filling device, which is used when filling a medicine vessel with a solid medicine, is provided with: a medicine housing section that houses a medicine and has a plurality of medicine discharge openings that discharge the housed medicine; a rotor that is positioned within the medicine housing section, has a plurality of temporary medicine housing sections that temporarily house the medicine, and by means of rotating, moves the medicine housed at the plurality of temporary medicine housing sections to the plurality of medicine discharge openings; a medicine guide section that guides the medicine discharged from the plurality of medicine discharge openings to the medicine vessel; and a drive unit that drives the rotor to rotate. When at least one of the temporary medicine housing sections and at least one of the medicine discharge openings align in a manner such that the discharging of medicine is possible, the temporary medicine housing sections and medicine discharge openings that are not in the aligned state are offset by an angle such that the discharge of medicine is not possible. |
