The purpose of the present invention is to switch between a plurality of waveform data at a discretionary timing while preventing the generation of noise. In accordance with a switchover instruction to switch from waveform data (20) being reproduced to another waveform data (20·), either a switchover position on the other waveform data (20·) or a switchover position on the waveform data (20) being reproduced is set as a termination timing for terminating the reproduction of the waveform data (20) being reproduced, with reference to switchover position information (25) of the waveform data being reproduced and switchover position information (25) of the other waveform data. For example, if a switchover position on the waveform data (20) being reproduced exists within a period of 50 milliseconds before the switchover position on the other waveform data (20·) that exists immediately after the timing of the switchover instruction, then said switchover position on the waveform data (20) being reproduced is set as the termination timing, whereas if no such switchover position exists, then said switchover position on the other waveform data (20·) is set as the termination timing. |
