PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve washability of a conveyance belt conveying a recorded medium.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises a conveyance belt 2 that supports and conveys a recorded medium P, a recording head 6 that discharges ink to the recorded medium P and a washing portion 10 for the conveyance belt 2, which has: a first washing mode for washing the conveyance belt 2 by the washing portion 10 during conveyance of the recorded medium P by the conveyance belt 2; and a second washing mode for washing the conveyance belt 2 by the washing portion 10 except during the conveyance of the recorded medium P by the conveyance belt 2. |
