PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a canister metered dose inhaler which comprises a canister assembly and avoids unnecessary overfilling of drug formulations, drug loss to excessive surface areas of larger canisters, and drug loss due to priming shots.SOLUTION: An embodiment has a minimal volume canister 140 and primeless valve 110 to reduce waste, minimize total drugs contained therein, and increase the reproducibility of dosage delivered. The primeless valve is a non-retention valve configured to minimize the volume around the valve. |
