PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ocular lens which offers a long distance from an image display surface to a first lens, high observed magnification, and large apparent field of view and which enables good observation of an image presented on the image display surface.SOLUTION: An ocular lens comprises a first lens having positive refractive power, a second lens having negative refractive power, and a third lens having positive refractive power in order from the object side to the viewer side, where the first lens has an object-side lens surface R1a which is convex on the object side and the second lens has a viewer-side lens surface R2b which is concave on the viewer side. A focal length f of the ocular lens, a focal length f11 of the lens surface R1a, and a focal length f22 of the lens surface R2b are each set appropriately. |
