PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character string retrieval program, method, and device capable of retrieving a character string related to a character string which has been stored ambiguously.SOLUTION: A transition pattern of a vowel component of each character included in a first character string is specified, and then a second character string in which a vowel component of each character transitions based on a transition pattern satisfying predetermined similar relation to the specified transition pattern, is specified. Then, a computer is caused to perform processing for outputting the second character string as a related character string of the first character string or performing retrieval using the second character string as a retrieval key. |
