PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carboxymethyl cellulose fiber sheet-like structure in which a surface substitution degree of carboxymethylated fiber sheet is 0.5 or more, and a shape of the fiber sheet can be maintained.SOLUTION: A sheet-like structure consists of carboxymethylated natural or regenerated cellulose fiber, in which an average substitution degree of a hydroxyl group in a glucose unit constituting cellulose is 0.2 or more and less than 0.5, and a substitution degree of a sheet surface is 0.5 or more and less than 0.8.
