The present invention relates to the X-ray imaging apparatus and control method for the same. X-ray imaging apparatus includes X-ray source to irradiate X-ray to the area of the object; X-ray detector to get the plural number of frame images about the above area of the object by detecting the above irradiated X-ray; the filtering part to filter the X-ray irradiated from the above X-ray source; the image processing part to set the area of interest in the above area of the object based on the above plural number of frame images; and the control part to control the above filtering part in the way that the less amount of X-ray enters to the uninterested area in the above area of the object than the area of interest and to control the above X-ray detector in the way that the benefit of the above X-ray detector in the above uninterested area is bigger than the above area of interest. According to the invention, the high quality image can be made with the low amount of X-ray by getting the benefit of the X-ray detector differently according to each area as well as the amount of X-ray to enter as distinguishing the area of interest from the uninterested area. Besides, it can be applied to the field of X-ray moving pictures as the area of interest can be moved. |
