PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment system capable of stably and preferably decomposing and removing an oil content of wastewater containing animal and vegetable oils, in biological treatment using an activated sludge aeration tank.SOLUTION: The wastewater treatment system for treating wastewater containing animal and vegetable oils by biological treatment includes the activated sludge aeration tank. The activated sludge aeration tank includes: an outflow port 14 for flowing out sludge-containing liquid in the activated sludge aeration tank; and a shielding plate 16 for preventing outflow of animal and vegetable oils floating on the sludge-containing liquid in the activated sludge aeration tank from the outflow port 14.
