PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of moving a cloth material while generating hardly any large oscillation.SOLUTION: This application discloses a holding structure for holding a cloth material. The holding structure includes: a drive mechanism for performing first movement; and at least one passive mechanism for performing second movement in which the cloth material is rotated in a first rotation direction around a vertical axis, and a second rotation direction opposite from the first rotation direction, according to the first movement. The at least one passive mechanism includes: a conversion part for converting the first movement into the second movement; and a holding part for holding the cloth material and executing the second movement.
