PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation device capable of storing a lubricant between a nip member and a fixation belt.SOLUTION: A fixation device 100 includes: an endless rotatable fixation belt 110; a heating element that is disposed inside the fixation belt 110 and generates heat inside the fixation belt 110; a nip plate 130 (nip member) disposed inside the fixation belt 110; and a pressure roller 150 for gripping the fixation belt 110 between it and the nip plate 130. The nip plate 130 includes: a sliding surface 135 slidable on an inner peripheral surface of the fixation belt 110 via a lubricant; and a projection 136 that is disposed outside the end 113 of the fixation belt 110 and projects toward the fixation belt 110 side from the sliding surface 135. |
