The present invention relates to a fastening device, a selector lever housing, a force transmission element, a switching device and a method for fastening a switching device, which reduce a unit noise that is transmitted from an engine compartment to the interior of a motor vehicle. The fastening device comprises a passage (201) for receiving the selector lever device (100), a contact surface section (202) which at least partially surrounds the passage (201) for contact with a contact element (600), a sealing means receptacle (203) arranged in the contact surface section (202) and a holder (210, 212, 214) for holding a section (302) of a force transmission device (300), by means of which the selector lever apparatus (100) can be switchingly connected to a force transmission device, the holder (210, 212, 214) being arranged on a side of the contact surface section (202) facing away from the sealing-means receptacle (203). The fastening device (200) is characterized in that the sealing means receptacle (203) is arranged cross-sectionally at least partially overlapping with a holding region (215) delimited by the holder (210, 212, 214). |
