<p>The present invention relates to a system for controlling a driving speed of an electric vehicle in which a motor is started with a hand, rather than foot, to drive wheels such as a golf cart, or the like, capable of adjusting a driving speed within a predetermined range according to a user intention. The system for controlling a driving speed of an electric vehicle using a pedal comprises a pedal generating rotational force as a driver steps on the pedal; a switch operating unit cooperatively coupled to the pedal and forming belt tension using rotational force of the pedal; a switch connecting unit including a rotary member thrust toward a switching unit by the belt tension of the switch operating unit so as to be moved; and a switching unit opening and closing a second circuit unit connecting a power supply unit and a driving motor and operated according to a movement of the rotary member.</p> |
