PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform reception processing on a broadcast content transmitted employing IP system.SOLUTION: A broadcast station transmits a SDPT, which includes a piece of service identification information and a SDP in a header expansion part, within a SSC. At the reception side, a section filtering processing is made on a received transport stream to thereby easily acquire a desired SDPT from the signaling information SSC. A desired channel stream can be accessed at a high speed based on an IP address and a port number written within the SDP stored in the header expansion part of the acquired SDPT.
