A detection system (100) is described for detecting analytes in a fluid sample. The detection system (100) comprises a transporting means (6) for transporting magnetic and/or electric labels (5) after interaction between the sample fluid and the reagents towards a detection receptacle (1). The detection receptacle (1) is initially substantially magnetic and/or electric label (5) free. By transporting the magnetic and/or electric labels (5) after reaction, interference between unreacted reagents and magnetic and/or electric label-assisted detection can be reduced.

1. A method for detecting at least one target molecule, the method comprising:
allowing interaction between a sample and at least one magnetic and/or electric label to thereby obtain at least one magnetically and/or electric labeled target molecule, magnetically and/or electric transporting the at least one magnetic and/or electric label to a detection surface, and after said allowing of said interaction and transporting the at least one magnetic and/or electric label, detecting at least one magnetic and/or electric label assisted detection signal, wherein allowing the interaction between the sample and at least one magnetic and/or electric label comprises allowing the interaction between the sample and at least one magnetic and/or electric label to thereby obtain the at least one magnetically and/or electric labeled target molecule after said transporting said magnetic and/or electric label to the detection surface.
