The present invention relates to a method for estimating a body direction, a computer readable storage medium recording the method, and an apparatus for estimating the body direction. According to one embodiment of the present invention, disclosed is the method for estimating the body direction which includes the steps of: determining a reference position based on a first body part of a human body; calculating a movement matrix in a world coordinate system using the determined reference position; determining a first vector based on a second body part of the human body and the reference position; calculating a first rotation matrix; determining a second vector based on the first vector and a third part of the human body; calculating a second rotation matrix; and calculating a transformation matrix based on the movement matrix, the first rotation matrix, and the second rotation matrix. The reference position is the combination position of the joints of the human body. |
