PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high purity soluble thrombomodulin in which the concentration of a protein derived from a host cell is reduced.SOLUTION: The invention provides a high purity soluble thrombomodulin produced in a transformed cell obtained by transfecting, into a host cell, DNA which includes a base sequence encoding soluble thrombomodulin. The content ratio of the protein derived from the host cell is less than 10 ng to 10,000 U of a soluble thrombomodulin. |
