摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a high-performance sound insulation composition having improved noise-barrier properties and to a manufacturing method thereof. More particularly, the present invention relates to a high-performance sound insulation composition having noise-barrier properties improved with respect to the weight of the sound insulation composition by utilizing ferrite and to a manufacturing method thereof. The high-performance sound insulation composition having improved noise-barrier properties to improve the NVH performance of a vehicle according to the present invention, which reduces noise by reflecting waves, comprises: 10 to 40 parts by weight of a main sound insulation substrate having ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) mixed in a weight ratio of 1:1 therein; 2 to 10 parts by weight of a crosslinking agent; 40 to 80 parts by weight of a ferrite-containing filler having ferrite added thereto; and 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of an additive. For the main sound insulation substrate, used is a main sound insulation substrate melt manufactured by being mixed and melted in a mixer preheated at temperatures of 120 to 160°C. The ferrite-containing filler includes 1 to 80 wt% of ferrite with respect to 100% of the filler and includes 10 to 20 wt% of barium sulfate, which is mixed easily with the crosslinking agent, to facilitate the mixture of the ferrite with the crosslinking agent. The effect of sound insulation is improved by the ferrite-containing filler even if the ferrite-containing filler has the same specific gravity as the specific gravity of a sound insulation composition that does not contain ferrite.</p>
