<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that enables a user to photograph at a desirable timing by completing a photographing preparation before a photographing timing on a basis of a change in an expression evaluation value of a photographed person before the photographing.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises a first camera part, a second camera part arranged to face toward a photographed person in photographing, means for storing an image from the first camera part, and a photographing indication part. An expression evaluation value is calculated on a basis of smile degree, eye-closing degree, visual line direction, angle of a face included in an image photographed by the second camera part to store the expression evaluation value a predetermined time before a timing of operation of the photographing indication part as a reference expression evaluation value. The expression evaluation value is periodically calculated and stored with a calculation time, and when the expression evaluation value becomes within the predetermined range with respect to the reference expression evaluation value, an imaging preparation including white balance control, exposure control, and automatic focus control is performed.</p> |
