<p>Provided is a light shielding device which can be applied to the glass surface of a window, etc. of an existing building using a simple configuration and which allows the user to freely adjust the rate of light ray transmission. Light shielding sheets (1, 2) are mounted around and between support shafts (3) which are disposed along facing edges of a glass surface (G), the light shielding sheets (1, 2) extending along the glass surface (G) and being superposed on one another. Moving the light shielding sheets (1, 2) relative to one another through the support shafts (3) changes the rate of transmission of light rays transmitting through the superposed light shielding sheets (1, 2).</p> |
